About the Job:
Treat adolescents in a 16-bed inpatient unit
Care primarily for patients with co-existing medical and psychiatric disorders
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams developing behavior plans and provide individual, family, and group therapy
Multidisciplinary team is comprised of pediatricians, child psychiatrists, psychologists, an advanced practice psychiatric nurse, social workers, pediatric nurses, mental health workers, and nutritionists
Opportunity to teach and provide supervision
Collaborative research opportunities
About You:
PhD or PsyD in Clinical Child Psychology
Licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island
Desire to work in a team-based care model
Experience working in an inpatient setting
Bring a passion for helping youth with medical and psychiatric issues
Good sense of humor and a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality
