Clinical Child & Adolescent Behavioral Psychologist – Inpatient Unit, CADD at Bradley Hospital

Riverside, Rhode Island
Are you a clinical psychologist who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment? Do you have a passion for helping children and adolescents with serious emotional and behavioral problems? If so, we invite you to explore a rewarding opportunity at the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) at Bradley Hospital, a teaching affiliate of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
This highly specialized program provides acute care, comprehensive evaluation and intensive treatment for children and adolescents with serious emotional and behavioral problems in addition to a developmental disability or neurodiversity, such as autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disability. Every patient is evaluated and treated through a multidisciplinary approach. The behavioral psychologist’s roles include assessing clinical presentation with a focus on identifying factors contributing to behavioral problems, supporting the clinical team in formulating the goals of treatment, developing individualized behavior plans (IBP), identifying meaningful markers of behavior change, and providing support to the milieu staff on implementation of programing and IBP. The psychologist will also engage with patients in individual, and group interventions as appropriate. This position is best suited for a psychologist with a strong interest in behavioral treatment for individuals significantly impacted by their developmental disabilities and co-morbid psychiatric conditions.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Clinical Child & Adolescent Behavioral Psychologist to join our nationally recognized inpatient program.
