Psychiatrist Needed - Outpatient - Academic Appointment if Desired

Brown University Health has an opening for a board certified or eligible psychiatrist interested in working in an outpatient setting in our East Providence, West River or East Greenwich, RI office. Here you will join a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed social workers, and community treatment specialists. Our program offers tailored, personal, and coordinated treatment for patients age 18+ older who are experiencing a variety of mental health and behavioral health conditions. The department has the added benefit of a strong leadership team committed to providing professional growth and longevity with the team.

Full time
Work M-F, 8:00a-5:00p
Appointment times are 60-minute new patient and 15–30-minute follow ups
Weekend call is approximately 8x/year on site
Weeknight call is 1 night/month by telephone only for outpatient/ER coverage 5pm-8am
Academic appointment to Brown University with the option to precept medical students and residents
Patients primarily present with mood disorders and anxiety

The benefits:
Base Salary $250K-$290K+ RVU
Additional compensation for call
EMR is EPIC
$3,500 CME/Practice allowance + 1 week

About you:
Board certified or eligible in psychiatry
Have a good grasp of medication management and psychotherapy
Desire to be in a collaborative environment
Interest in settling in Rhode Island or Southeastern Massachusetts
